Noillirk Overview

Noillirk is a free browser survey game made by Daily (playdaily.org). Each prompt is an open survey question such as "Name something people lose all the time", and you have 15 seconds to type the answer you think most people would give. The more common your answer, the higher a little pink krill floats on its bunch of balloons, starting from a pond on the forest floor. The name is Krillion spelled backwards: in Krillion the rarest answer scores, while in Noillirk the most common answer wins.
Features
Free in the browser, with no account, download or sign-up needed (signing in only syncs scores across devices)
Survey-style prompts across everyday categories such as Food & Drink, Jobs, Places, Shopping, Film & TV, Animals, Sayings and Everyday
Six-tier scoring ladder from Grounded to Sky High, based on a nine-answer survey board
Pixel-art climb where every altitude is real, from forest floor and canopy to the mountains, thunderhead and Everest "death zone"
Endless mode continues past the Kármán line, the Moon, the planets and the galaxy to the edge of the observable universe
Daily, Classic, Endless and live multiplayer modes
End-of-climb review with your answer and points for each prompt, a "higher than X% of climbers" comparison, and a share button

A sister game to Krillion: the same kind of question, scored the opposite way
How to Play
Pick a mode on the start screen — Daily, Classic, Endless or Play multiplayer — then press Begin Ascent.
Read the prompt. After a short 3-second count-in, you have 15 seconds to type a single answer and press Enter or Climb. You can also Pass.
If your answer does not fit the prompt, it is turned away ("not accepted") with no penalty except the seconds you spent, so you can try another before the clock runs out.
Your accepted answer is placed on the survey board and lands in one of six tiers: Sky High (number one answer, 100 points), Jet Stream (places 2–4, 64 points), Cloud Nine (places 5–9, 32 points), Kite (16 points), Treetop (8 points) or Grounded (4 points).
Points become altitude. A Classic climb is 7 prompts, and a perfect 700-point climb reaches 14 km. Answering faster earns nothing extra.
In Daily (The Daily Climb), everyone gets the same 7 prompts with 15 seconds each and one try a day. Classic deals fresh prompts every time, and Endless keeps going until your 3 balloons are gone.
In Endless, only a miss — a timeout with no accepted answer, or a pass — pops a balloon. Every Sky High answer wins a popped balloon back.
Tips
Answer for the crowd, not for yourself. Think about what a typical person would blurt out first, not the clever or specialist answer.
Use the general word. "Keys", not "car keys" — the broad word collects every variant people type.
Picture a hundred strangers, or a child and a grandparent. The answer you would hear from both is usually number one.
Take the joke everyone makes. If a prompt invites a punchline, the most common punchline is often the top answer.
Type your first instinct early. A wrong-fitting answer only costs seconds, but an empty box when time runs out scores nothing and pops a balloon in Endless.
One answer at a time. Two answers in one ("blanket and basket"), catch-alls like "stuff", or repeating the prompt's own words are refused. Typos, plurals and slang are fine.
In Endless, never let the clock run out. A safe, ordinary answer keeps your balloons, and a Sky High answer now and then wins popped ones back.
Why play Noillirk?
Noillirk is quick to learn but hard to master because the winning answer is always the one a crowd would give, not the cleverest one. Every 15-second prompt is a fresh guess about other people, the six-tier ladder makes each result easy to read, and the pixel-art climb gives every run a new height to beat.
Summary
“Noillirk is a free 15-second survey game where the most common answer wins. Type what most people would say, climb from the forest floor toward space, and compare your instincts with the crowd.”
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Noillirk?
Noillirk is a free online survey game by Daily. You read a prompt like "Name something people lose all the time" and have 15 seconds to type the answer most people would give. The more common your answer, the higher your krill climbs on its balloons.
Is Noillirk a daily game?
Yes and no. It has a Daily Climb mode with the same 7 prompts for everyone and one try a day, but Classic and Endless have no daily limit, so you can play as many climbs as you like.
How is Noillirk scored?
Each accepted answer lands in one of six tiers: Sky High (the number one answer, 100 points), Jet Stream (places 2–4, 64), Cloud Nine (places 5–9, 32), Kite (16), Treetop (8) and Grounded (4). A perfect 7-prompt climb is 700 points and reaches 14 km.
What happens if my answer is wrong?
An answer that doesn't fit the prompt is turned away with no penalty beyond the seconds you spent typing it, so you can try again while the 15-second timer is still running.
How does Endless mode work?
Endless keeps dealing prompts until your 3 balloons are gone. Only a miss — letting the clock run out without an accepted answer, or passing — pops a balloon, and every Sky High answer wins a popped one back.
Can I play Noillirk with friends?
Yes. Choose Play multiplayer to join a live room of up to 30 players or open a private room with a six-digit code. Everyone answers the same prompt against the same clock and sees all answers side by side.
Who made Noillirk, and how is it related to Krillion?
Noillirk is made by Daily (playdaily.org), which calls it the official and original Noillirk and its own invention. Its name is Krillion spelled backwards: Krillion rewards the rarest answer, Noillirk rewards the most common one.
Is Noillirk free?
Yes. It is free to play in any modern browser on a phone or computer, with no account and no download.
